Revenge of the Radio Star

I didn't do anything crazy, this time! You can breathe easy. Haha. I put together something super casual and quite simple. Though, I did throw in a fun t-shirt which you can see in better detail below. ^___^

If you're a child of the 80s, you probably remember the song, Video Killed The Radio Star. This Threadless t-shirt basically shows the Radio Star getting some long overdue revenge. Haha. Again, this is one of those shirts that you either get and love, or don't get and hate. I seem to have a lot of these types of tees. Hehe. Anyway, I love the iridescent stream of colors in the shirt. It seems to glow!

Finally, the other new thing I'm sporting is this ModCloth high waisted pencil skirt. It's rather form fitting which kind of makes me uncomfortable from a modesty perspective, but I love the colors and the exposed zipper in the back. It's so fun to style, so I just try to get over my shyness when I wear it. Heh.

Also, I apologize for the booty shot. o_O O_o Haha. I just wanted to show the exposed zipper. I think it's really cool, but unfortunately the placement falls...well...on my booty. OK? Sorry! Sorry! >_< <3

So, where did I go in this little number? Ohhhh, you guessed it. Coffee shop. Haha. ^_^ I got myself a peppermint mocha; brought my iGrado headphones (looped around my neck, as you can see) and my laptop for some good old fashioned time wasting. :D Oh and I did bring my ModCloth backpack from this previous post, but I forgot to wear it for the photos, because I'm lame. Sorry about that!

There you have it! This is probably a much needed boring visual palate cleanser given the craziness of my last few posts. Haha. Don't worry, I'll be scaring you again, soon! :P Have a great weekend!

Crazy colors, multi-directional stripes and houndstooth? Sure, why not! :DDD I was feeling quirky, so I put together a mix of colors and prints to reflect my mood. I realize that adding the ModCloth houndstooth bag could be upsetting to some people due to the clashing effect, but I was OK with it. Sometimes, you have to take risks in order to know what works and what doesn't. I liked the result. :P

You've seen everything I'm wearing in previous posts, except for the striped top which I received from my clothing swap group sometime last year. Hurray for remixing! :D I haven't worn the teal skinny jeans in awhile. Click here to see how I styled them last Winter! My partner and I were still getting the hang of our new camera, so you might notice that the colors are a bit off in those photos. We're still not expert photographers haha, but I hope you can see the true color of the jeans in the current photos.

Yep. That's about it! :D I think this outfit is casual, but also colorful and fun. Hopefully it isn't too weird! Haha. <3 I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I'm looking forward to the warmer weather. *^_^*
