I'm super stoked to show off my thrifted steampunk vest. It's so beautiful! <3 It's hard to be super casual while wearing a vest like this. In my opinion, you kind of have to go all out with it. Otherwise, you wouldn't be doing it justice. So, I broke out my handmade tie (shipped from Montreal); paired it with my new Forever 21 metal tip lapel blouse and finished the overall look with a comfortable pocket skirt. Look at those incredible details! So awesome! I love the burnished metal ovules and how the vest zips only part way. This vest is perfect! I have to admit, I felt ready to kick so much ass in this outfit. Haha :D
Of course, this look would not have been complete without these rad steampunk flip glasses from zeroUV. I have quite a collection of sunglasses, but I find myself consistently choosing these when I go out. I think it's because they go with everything and they add a different element to each outfit.
