Experimenting with colorful monochromes, again. :D In this regard, blue has been kind of an obsession of mine (Exhibit A, Exhibit B, Exhibit C and Exhibit D, just to showcase several of many attempts).

For this look, I tried to keep things as clean as possible. I think the mint blouse does all the work and I wanted it to be the standout piece. The little details in the blouse are quite beautiful. The navy high rise corduroy jeans add a depth of color and texture while the brown hat and shoes add contrast without being distracting. I wanted the outfit to demonstrate careful thought, but look effortless. I think I did OK!

Hey, dudes! :D Who? Me? Nothin'. Just making old stuff look new and whatnot. No big deal or whatevs. Hehe. Can you tell how happy I am to see desiccated leaves on the ground? Squee! <3 I feel like I totally blend in with the background, too. Haha. I'm wearing the perfect Autumn camouflage. ^_^

So, yeah. I decided to break out the old Anthropologie night gown. Haha. It has been forever since I last wore it. I didn't even know it was a night gown when I thrifted it, but even after finding out the cold hard truth, I've continued to wear it as a top, because f*ck it. Heh. I don't even wear night gowns to bed, anyway. I usually sleep in a t-shirt/cami and comfy yoga capris. However, in the winter, I add a kigurumi.

Yes, I often sleep in a onesie. Leave me alone! Gah! T_T Heh. Anyway, I wore the green maxi skirt, again (because it's awesome) and I tried my best to position it so that it wouldn't look super weird. In this regard, the empire waist on the night gown is quite bothersome. >_< Then, I finished with the cinnamon cardi and framed the outfit with shades of dark brown to create something simple, comfortable and earthy. ^_^ So happy to wear earth tones, you guys! I just love this time of year. <3
