Hey! Today's artist isn't as esoteric as my usual picks. Hehe. It's the one and only Jay Kay of Jamiroquai! I really don't think he needs an introduction, but if by some weird turn of events you've never heard of Jay Kay, you can read up about him here. The track above is a jazzy deep house remix of Jay Kay's "Main Vein" track from the 2001 "A Funk Odyssey" album. It's one of my favorites! Enjoy and happy Wednesday!

Here's a rad track from Alexandre Gouyette's 2009 debut album, "Early Night." It's so, so good! This is the kind of track I'd love to have greet me when I come home from a long, tiring day at work. Gouyette stopped producing music as "Izmo" around 2009 and took up the name "Brawther." Under that alias, he has put out a slew of singles and EPs through this year. Gouyetter's latest release is the "Untitled" EP (2013) featuring four tracks, two of which are remixes. You can listen to Track A2 below! It's so right on! I freakin' love it! Check out Gouyette's SoundCloud page for additional tracks! It'll be the best in deep housemusic all week long, so stick around! :D Hey, guys! This week, it's all about deep house music. I'm starting things off strong with a fantastic track from Andreas Greiner, Jr. of Leipzig, Germany. It's Greiner's latest single from August 2010. Greiner has been active in the house music scene since the late 90's. He released his first (and only album to date), "Different Divides" in 2002. He steadily released singles and EPs through 2010, but things appear to have dropped off, since then. He still produces mixes however. His latest mix is "Deepcast 03/2013" for Deep Pressure Music. You'll want to check that out! Finally, I'll leave you with another one of Greiner's latest singles from May 2010 called, "Love Thang." It's super chill and perfect beginning to a week of house music. It's pretty f*cking fantastic! |
