I don't know about you, but I'm so ready for the weekend! I'm ending this week's playlist with a fantastic latin house track by Fluide. It's from the 2000 EP, "Voce (E o Meu Amor)." There haven't been any new releases from this group since the early 2000's, so enjoy this classic groove!

Happy Friday! Here's a perfect end-of-the-week track. It's from Johannes Paluka's 2011 EP, "Treats Vol. 3." It's funky, bass heavy and supremely chill. I think you'll like this one! Check it out! A native of Germany, Paluka started out with the "Til You Go" EP of 2010 and released a slew of singles and EPs in the three years that followed. His debut album, "Soft Wide Waist Band," came out in 2012. I find that Paluka has a knack for producing sophisticated deep house with a technical flare. His tracks can be really gritty and dark akin to tech-house, another one of my favorite genres. Paluka's latest projects include the "Never Give Up" single and the "Glazing" EP, both of which came out in January 2013. I'll leave you with a track from the Glazing EP. I love the hip hop influence. For more tracks and downloads, check out Paluka's SoundCloud page! I have a fun track lined up for later this evening, so be sure to check back! It'll be the perfect segway into next week's genre: jazz. :D Hey, guys! Check this out! This is one of my favorite deep house grooves from DeLorean Suite of Ireland. This track is a single from Summer 2009. You'll like this one! Kick back, relax and enjoy! DeLorean Suite consists of Jenny McMahon, Graham Conway and Tony Roche. They're pretty new to the music scene, having released the single above in 2009 followed by another single in 2011. The group put out their debut album, "Two Lives" in 2012. It's a mix of deep house and downtempo. The "By Your Side" track is pretty sweet. It's light and airy with a palpable disco flavor. Perfect beach music. |
