 GUYS! I don't know why I didn't hear about this until now, but Com Truise came out with a new EP. It's called "Wave 1" (Feb. 2014) and it r0x0r5 my b0x0r5. <3 The track above is number five on the EP and it's perfect.  Starting off this week of indie with Track 6 from Freelance Whale's latest album, "Diluvia." (2012). I discovered these guys earlier in the year and I'm still enamored with their sound. I think you'll like them, too! To learn more about the group and to hear some additional tracks, check out my previous blog post from April. Enjoy and don't go too far. It's going to be a fun week of music!  Signing off with a dreamy electronic track by Steve Moore. It's a single he released in May 2009 and you can find it on the electro compilation, "Valerie And Friends." You'll want this in your ears! What I love most about this track is that it takes you places. By the end, you'll find yourself in a much different, much better location. It's introspective and otherworldly. Just fantastic. Moore has been very busy since the release of his dark ambient album, "The Henge," in 2007. Since then, he has released five EPs and 10 albums. Moore's latest releases include the "Zen Spiders" EP (2013) and the "Pangaea Ultima" 12 inch (Dec. 2013). You can listen to Track 3 from "Pangaea Ultima" below. I like all of the tracks from Pangaea, but Track 3 especially, because it says so much with so little. It's rather minimalist, but there's a lot going on in the track. It's perfect contemplating music. I can easily see it featured in a sci-fi film or anime. :D Be sure to keep up with Moore Facebook and SoundCloud! |
