 Ohhh, it's going to be a grrrreaaaat day. /Irish accent/ (^___^)v I've got a good one for you, folks! I'm starting off this week of electro house and chiptunes with a single Russ Chimes produced for the "Valerie And Friends" compilation of May 2009. It's too good to listen to just once! Aww yeah. Let those retro synths wash over you. Haha. Love it! :D Admittedly, I hadn't heard of Russ Chimes until very recently and by accident. I stumbled across that compilation album mentioned above and when I came across Chimes' contribution, I was totally hooked. I had to find out more about him. As it turns out, not much is known about Chimes other than that he is based in London and that he is fairly new to the music scene. He released his debut EP, "Midnight Club" in 2010 and this was followed by the "Tonic/Helix" EP (2011) and four singles. His latest releases include the single, "Motions," (Feb. 2014) and the "Sula" EP (July 2014). Be sure to keep up with Chimes on Facebook and SoundCloud!  Signing off with Joe Bataan's "Latin Strut" from the 1973 album, "Salsoul." It doesn't get much better than this, folks. Perfect end to the week!
