Ain't No Party Like A House Party (Winter 2017 Disco House Mix)

Guys. You, guys! Look, I know it's f*cking ass cold out there. The sun is nowhere to be found and I know what you're thinking: If the negative temperatures don't kill you, the sheets of ice lurking under the snow on the sidewalk will. I know, I know, I know. >_< It's not all bad, though! I mean, there's whiskey and brandy and scotch and rum. Those are great for keeping you comfortably warm and numb, right?

Oh and you know what else is great for warmth? A good old fashioned house party. Yeah. Yeahhhhh. Y'all know what I'm talking about. There's nothing like ringing a doorbell and getting hit with a blast of disco house* as that door opens. So, come on in! Have a winter stout or a hot toddy. Talk a bit, dance a bit. If that doesn't keep you warm enough, you can always sit by the fireplace. Happy New Year!

Lost & Found (Fall 2016 Dubstep Mix)

Here's yet another mix to carry you through the Fall season. :P This is my first time dabbling with dubstep and I have to say, I loved every minute of it. When I got started, I was told that it would all come down to hard cuts. Personally, I think excessive hard cutting is a sign of weakness. So, I tried to keep hard cuts to a minimum and actually mix the tracks. I enjoyed the challenge. Also, I wanted to show that dubstep can have a softer side. Yes, it's generally harsh, loud and in-your-face, but it can also be very introspective and touching. I hope that these different emotions come through and that I was able to really do the mix justice, in that regard. Click here* to download! Thanks and I hope you enjoy! :D

Mal Pais (Summer 2016 Hip Hop Mix)

Hey, folks! I'm back with another mix! :D It's short, but sweet. Four or five minutes is a really long time for a hip hop track, nowadays. Most are like one to three minutes tops. Since I didn't really feel like mixing 14 tracks or whatever just to get like 30 or 40 minutes, I decided to value quality over quantity.

With my first hip hop mix, I focused on the story and the journey, so the track order was more important than beat matching. However, this time around, I focused a lot more on my transitions, so this mix shows a lot more technical ability. I just hope that the story didn't get lost in the fray. =)

These particular tracks kept me super chilled out when I was on vacation in Costa Rica, hence the title of the mix. Each song takes me back to that amazing time in my life, so they bring a lot of joy. <3
