If you're looking for something new to add to your playlists or just a fun track to listen to while playing a retro side scroller, you've found it. Hehe. Love this track by Joshua Steele of Flux Paviliion. Steele released two EPs in 2013, "Blow The Roof" and "Freeway." This track is from the Freeway EP. Love the samples in this track, man. Reminds me of video gaming. :D This tune appears on Barry Lynn's latest EP called, "Gnosis" (2013). Check out my previous blog post about Boxcutter for a short bio and additional tracks. Don't go too far! You don't want to miss this week's picks! ;D I'm doing dubstep this week! Admittedly, this first track is jungle, not dubstep. However, I think it is the perfect song to get this week of music off to a great start. It's well executed, super chill and it has the vibe I was hoping to cultivate. It's from Travis Stewart's latest album, "Vapor City" (2013). The album is a collection of jungle, UK garage and juke (booty house/deep house). You gotta listen to that album, if you haven't already had a chance! Stewart is a seeming master of all genres.
