Topping off a great week of electro house and chiptunes with one of my favorite tracks from Mille. This is a single from 2009, I believe. He's rather elusive on the internet, with only a MySpace page and a handful tracks on SoundCloud. If you're never heard of this 20-something from Sweden, check out my previous blog post about him for a short bio and additional tracks. Happy Friday!

Heyooooooo! :D Get a load of this track from Swedish chiptunes producer, FantomenK! It's a single he released in February 2011 and it's all kinds of rad! If you're new to FantomenK, this will be a real treat! Boom! That's it! You're done, son! There's no turning back now. So, just go ahead and click all my links and buy all of this dude's music! I'm a fan for life and now so are you, whether you like it or not. Muahahaha! So, not much is known about this dude other than that he mixes "retro and modern electronic music and combin[es] it with the scent of Ninja." And it smells good, ya'll. It smells so GOOD! FantomenK released his first album, "The Massacre" in May 2010 and it's been full steam ahead ever since. His latest release is a single from September 2012 called "A Tiny Spaceship's Final Mission." It's out of this world (pun very much intended and if you don't like puns, you can just f*cking deal with it!) So awesome! :DDD FantomenK has a modest following so show him some love on Facebook and SoundCloud! It'll be the best in chiptunes and electro house all week long, so come on back! Happy Hump Day! :D This is a track from Matteo DiMarr's 1997 EP, "Electronic Funk." If this doesn't get you closer to the weekend, then I don't know what will. When I listen to this track, I feel like it's Saturday night! Based in Toronto, DiMarr started making acid, electro and tech house as M1 in the early 90s and continued to do so through 2008. Nowadays, DiMarr continues to produce house music, but it seems like it's more along the lines of hard house which isn't really my bag. If you'd like, you can listen to his latest release from October 2013 on Beatport. Check his SoundCloud for downloads! |
