God Hates Techno

This outfit apparently has the potential to give the impression that I am the kind of girl that likes to walk around without pants on. o_O O_o Needless to say, I wore the cardigan open for most of the day. Heh.

Anyway, you guys! I'm so excited about this chunky sweater weather! Yippee! <3 I'm sure you know by now that layering is one of my favorite things to do. I'm ready to pile on the fabrics and be creative!

I remember chuckling to myself when I saw this t-shirt for sale at Threadless. I just had to have it. I love its spiteful character. Haha. This shirt has the potential to anger people or make them laugh. I guess it just depends on the person's disposition. I happen to like techno, though nowadays that affection is confined solely to tech-house. At any rate, the shirt is an ironic statement for me. However, if I were to wear this to a techno night at a club, for example, I would expect at least a few weird stares or even some strong words from people who don't get the irony. Yeah. This shirt is good times! Haha :D

Oh and check out my new kicks from Cotton On! :D I've wanted some shoes like this forever. I decided to start out with suede and then maybe try to find some faux leather ones so I can play around with textures. I wasn't sure if this style of shoes would suit me, but I like them a lot! They're super comfy!

I love Cotton On (they donate to various causes sometimes, and they sell charitable items---it's great!). Also, I love snarky/subversive tee shirts, so threadless and etsy are my favorite places to look. I can't wait to start layering for fall either---I'm actually sick of warm weather, since here in Houston, I've been wearing the same clothes from February 'til now..
